The Isle of Lewis is at the North West corner of the group of Islands known as the Hebrides or Western Isles. It stretches for 100 miles and is generally known as the ‘long island’.
Stornoway is the main town on the Island and is serviced by a ferry terminal and airport.

From Stornoway Airport
Follow exit road from airport until you arrive at the A855. Take a right turn and follow the Stornoway signpost. Turn right when you get to Seaforth Road junction and follow on until you arrive at Constable Road where you turn right. When you arrive at the Ivorhill turn-off (directly after an ambulance station), turn left then first right again. The cottage is the third on the right.
From Stornoway ferry terminal
Turn left and follow Shell Street until the first roundabout. At the first roundabout take a right turn along James Street (signposted to airport) and pass directly through the second roundabout then on to Sandwick Road – you will pass a fuel station on your right. Follow along Sandwick Road and take the first left then carry on until you arrive at the Constable Road junction where you turn right. When you arrive at the Ivorhill turn-off (directly after an ambulance station) turn left then first right. The cottage is the third property on the right.
From ferry terminal in Harris
Follow the A859 to Stornoway. On reaching Stornoway follow on directly through the first roundabout for approximately 1 mile. Follow Perceval Road / Anderson Road and Constable Road. When you arrive at the Ivorhill turnoff (directly after an ambulance station) turn left then first right. The cottage is the third property on the right.
